The highlight of Featherhead is the expansive pool and deck. If tanning and cooling off with a refreshing swim is your idea of paradise, look no further. And if you like the occasional dip in the sea, a ten-minute stroll will get you to one of the softest beaches on the island, Jolly Beach.
A comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom gives those staying in the Master Bathroom the royal treatment. The other three bedrooms share two full baths. One of the bedrooms has two twin beds, ideal for the rugrats in your party or the partner who just can’t seem to stop kicking, even while they’re on holiday.
If dining for six indoors isn’t your flavour, make yourself comfortable at the alfresco dining, or better yet, munch on some snacks while lazily relaxing on a pool lounge chaise. Jolly Harbour is just a few moments walk. With shops, banks, a full supermarket, restaurants and other amenities, not many villas in Antigua can beat Featherheads location and value.
Antigua is an odd-shaped Caribbean island ringed with white sand beaches, surrounded by beautiful azure waters. Rolling green hills, picturesque villages, a lush and enchanted stretch of rainforest and the beautiful white beaches paint make up the landscape of Antigua. It is a beautiful getaway and many tourists enjoy the energetic island culture but also the peace and tranquility that the surrounding seas bring. Antigua is the perfect place to go SCUBA diving and sailing (visit Antigua during Sailing Week which occurs annually in April). As a popular stop for major cruise ships, Antigua offers great duty-free shopping. Antigua offers many great island tours – go shopping in the capital (St. John’s), visit historic sites, check out the beaches and local residents or sail to the nearby islands. There is no shortage of activities in Antigua.
We were a party of seven and the property could have easily accomodated 10. Master bedroom has a king, 2nd & 3rd each have a queen and the 4th room has 2 doubles. Jamie (Rental Butler) did a great job in aligning the house prior to arrival and Ita (representative) was great to accomodate once we arrived. Everything was clean, working well and pleasant. Ita took us through the house to ensure everything met our needs, she also helped to recommend a few things to do, see and places to eat local food. Provided some suggestions on evening activities. Unfortunately the suckling pig roast at Dennis bar conflicted with the steel drums at Shirley's hieghts on Sunday night as we would have enjoyed this as well after sampling Dennis's great food. I would highly recommend this rental and if we were to return to antigua I would not hesitate for a second to rent the property again.
